“Ekphrastic poem 1” by Chalat Rajaram

Written ‘In Synergy’ with Jeff Muzerolle [sky image]

Blue, Green, Grey and White
Of time, space, height.
The eyes that perceive light,
Colors within or out of sight.

The sun seems to Rise Above, set.
Hope, happiness, on one to reflect.
Millions of rays, the cadence, ecstasy.
The love then flows abundantly.

Daytime clouds reflecting the sun,
Lighter white, Grey thicker one.
Ups and downs in Napo’s Dream,
Into the deep sleep, a little gleam.

Infinite space without clue,
Finite limitation apperaring blue.
Green tree, a world appearance,
Occupying a part of the clearance.

Close your eyes, they no longer there.
Changing visions, right now and here.
Listen to Green, as the leaves burst open.
From branch to branch, the darting wren.

Nothing is constant then, now.
This picture, poem, even Rise Above.
Green, Napo’s Dream, memories already,
A surprise daily, don’t you see?
